Coach Mike Fritz

Linebackers

Coach Mike Fritz grew up in Woodstock, Illinois and started playing football in high school. After high school, Coach Fritz moved to Florida. He attended Florida State University and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in Criminology. Mike became a Police Officer for the Belleair Police Department for the past 20 years and still going. He started coaching football when his son decided to play when he was 5 years old. Fritz has been coaching football now for 18 years, the last 7 years have been right here at Countryside High School. The previous 5 years Coach Fritz served as the Head JV Coach. This will be the third year Coach Fritz has been coaching Varsity Linebackers.
