Coach Artie Harriel

Running Backs

Coach Arthur Harriel is a graduate of Countryside High School. Coach Harriel played football and ran track all four years for the Cougars. Coach Harriel played running back and defensive back on the football team. While on the track and field team, he ran sprints and performed the long jump. Coach Harriel then attended Dakota Wesleyan University where he played football and participated in track and field. Coach played one year at running back, and three years at defensive back.  While on the track and track field team, he participated in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump. Coach Harriel earned a degree in Physical Education and Health and has taught in Pinellas County Schools for 20 years. Coach Harriel has been a dedicated football coach at Countryside High School for 21 years, serving four years on varsity and 17 years on JV.  Coach Harriel also coached track and field for the Cougars for 12 years. This year, Coach Harriel's duties will included Varsity Running Backs.
