Jimbo Chmelik


James “Jimbo” Chmelik was a three year starter for Countryside High School (2007-2009).  During his time as the starting quarterback, Jimbo helped the Cougars earn 26 career wins and holds the All-Time Career Passing Touchdown Record with 37.  His high school career is highlighted with 1 District Championship, 2 playoff wins, a 9-3 record vs. District Opponents, and 2 years with playoff appearances.  Jimbo was unanimously selected the All-County All-Star Game starting quarterbback for the North Squad and was victorious in that game.  He received a full scholarship to play QB at Quincy University (NCAA Division II) in Illinois.  During his time with the Hawks, he was named Academic All-Conference Player for the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) in two separate seasons.  He also served as President of the National Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) - Quincy Chapter.  In 2010, Jimbo graduated from Quincy University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.  Jimbo is currently attending The University of Tampa and is pursuing a dual Master’s Degree (Master of Business Administration & Master in Finance).
